I'm all late. But i gotta say I'm still inspired by all the events for the 56th inaugural. I just got back from DC last night so i really hadn't had a chance to write--but the whole scene was crazy. There weren't 4 million people there, it was probably more like 3 mill but still, when you see that many people in a relatively small space for one man it gives you chills. Maybe the chills were from the 22 degree high for the day. I drove up, and on the way my heat decided not to work so i was cold from the time i left Atlanta up until last night. The drive was long and arduous. The walk from the metro to the national mall was longer than the drive. Not to mention i was up for a good 30+ hours. But with all that, knowing the circumstances I'd do it again in a heart beat. Like my brother said "the juice is worth the squeeze." Supposedly there were 1.8 million people on the mall with another million or so on the parade route and at the end of the day there were no arrests. I guess people had respect for the moment. Oh yeah i ran this weekend but thats sooo not worth writing about
